Following receipt of payment, either by online credit card payment or by cheque, your order will be processed. Fire Extinguishers will be prepared and will arrive at you chosen delivery destination ready to use.
Within each box will be the wall bracket required for fixing the fire extinguishers to the wall (except fire blankets that hang on a pan head screw) - care should be taken to ensure the fabric of the fixing surface is suitable for the weight of the particular extinguisher and that the correct screw fixings are used. As an example, on a breeze block or brick wall we recommend a 7mm masonry drill bit, 7mm brown wall plugs and 2" x 10mm screws are used. We recommend that small extinguishers such as 1kg and 2kg Dry Powder, 1lt & 2lt AFFF be wall mounted with the carrying handle approximately 1.5 metres from the floor. All other units should be mounted with the carrying handle approximately 1 metre from the ground. Work should be carried out by a competent person. Safety glasses should be worn while drilling. Be careful to ensure that the wall or area to be drilled is free from electrical cables, pipework or any other obstruction.
Our commitment to you is that we will always dispatch fire extinguishers and fire blankets that are BSEN and CE Approved. Whilst we will use every endeavour to supply those units shown in the illustrations shown, we do reserve the right to substitute an alternative manufacturers equipment. If we need to supply an alternative you can be sure it will be made and certified to the same standards and that your whole consignment of fire extinguishers will be of the same make.
From the receipt of your payment we will prepare and deliver the equipment you have ordered. Goods are normally despatched within 24 hours and delivered via our carrier to arrive the next day. Deliveries are Monday to Friday.
Deliveries will be made direct to the delivery address or your premises as instructed. Deliveries will only be made in mainland UK.
We will assume (unless you advise us otherwise) that deliveries can be received at your delivery address between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm. If this is not the case you must complete the special delivery instructions box on the checkout - step 2 page of our web site. We can not be held liable for you being unable to accept deliveries if you have not advised us beforehand.
All equipment is delivered direct to you. All equipment is new and unused. In the unlikely event of damage to any item whilst being delivered to you we undertake to replace the said item within 14 working days at no cost to yourselves. Please ensure that all items are checked on delivery and that you notify us within 3 working days of any shortages or damage. We will collect any damaged item at the time of replacement. We would ask that any defective or damaged product be ready for collection by our carrier.
All items supplied are covered by a full 12 month guarantee against faulty workmanship and the guarantee on fire extinguishers will be extended to 5 years from date of purchase if you take on a service agreement with our company or our elected representative.
